The Isle of Wight is the biggest scooter rally in the world with up to 10,000 scooterists descending on the island for a weekend of fun over the August bank holiday every year.
The main focus of the event is at Sandown Airport with bands, DJs and a massive area with stalls selling everything from scooter parts to clothing, books, magazines and other memorabilia. Bands this year include Angelo, brother of the late Edwin Starr who performs all his classics, plus a Stone Roses tribute band. A custom show takes place on the Saturday morning which showcases some stunning Vespas and Lambrettas, many of them gold plated, engraved and featuring bespoke accessories.
A huge rideout takes place at lunchtime on the Sunday, with thousands of scooters gathering in Ryde alongside thousands of visitors who line the streets to wave them off. They usually ride through the beautiful country lanes and end up back at the rally hub in Sandown.
Entertainment is also laid on for scooterists in many of the larger towns around the island, particularly Ryde, where a popular meeting place is on the green next to the pier.

Canvas Co Payment Plan - How it works
We are very happy to announce that we can now take bookings via a direct debit/payment plan option. This gives you the opportunity to book our amazing accommodation at a very low monthly price.
Once you book using one of the options on this page, you will pay the initial deposit/first payment and after this we will automatically take a payment from that same card/account
The remaining payments will all come out of your account on the same day of each month, i.e. If you book on the 7th of the month all the remaining payments will be taken on the 7th of each month.
If you miss more than 2 consecutive payments, the payment plan will be automatically cancelled.

This option is just for the empty bell tent, you will need to bring all your own airbeds, lights, bedding etc
